The company has handled media relations, coordinated with federal and state agencies, served as a liaison with Hartford’s Village government, communicated with state legislators, worked door-to-door with homeowners to implement vapor mitigation measures, served as a community ombudsman, assisted homeowners requiring evacuation due to vapor odor complaints and coordinated efforts with multiple engineering firms and legal teams.

Lead poisoning prevention project St. Mary’s Hospital of East St. Louis identified a major lead poisoning problem among school-age children in the Washington Park and East St. Louis area. An astounding 22% of elementary school children in Washington Park suffered elevated lead levels. St. Mary’s became the center of a multi-tiered, multi-agency effort to screen and treat children, offer prevention education, clean up former lead smelter sites and rehabilitate older housing stock. Price-Miner oversaw a multi-year earned and paid media plan to inform and educate the public and the media on this issue. Miner and Price wrote, directed and produced a 30-minute documentary which aired on broadcast television, as well as newsletters, direct mail and print advertising.
