Sherry Price
As co-owner of the company now named Price-Miner Creative Strategies since 1991, Sherry Price serves as the company’s creative director and lead producer. In that capacity, she has written, directed and produced award-winning television, radio, video and documentary projects for clients in the energy/environmental remediation, legal, health care and political fields. Price has won seven Show-Me Excellence Awards for health care advertising.
Price has been actively involved in community outreach programs, including a lead poisoning awareness and prevention campaign for St. Mary’s Hospital of East St. Louis and the creation of the St. Mary’s Hospital Health Foundation which sponsored critical health care initiatives in the economically depressed East St. Louis area.
Price began her career as a co-founder of the Alton, Illinois ERA Center and worked as the district office manager for the Illinois Majority Leader for 12 years. Her office was considered a model for constituent outreach services and she taught statewide seminars on district office management. Her role included extensive contact with local, state and federal agencies.
As a co-owner of Price-Miner, Price has consulted on more than 50 political campaigns in Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska and Indiana. Her candidate campaigns include judicial, congressional, legislative and local races, primarily in Illinois, including consulting for state and local party organizations. She has written and produced television and radio commercials, as well as direct mail, web sites and other publications.
Price’s background includes strong expertise in event planning and coordination, including organizing events for BP, The Democratic Party of Illinois, Clark USA, St. Mary’s Hospital Health Foundation and a host of local and regional candidates and organizations.
