Robert Miner
Robert Miner founded the company now named Price-Miner Creative Strategies, LLC in 1990 to provide strategic communications, public relations, political consulting and media and advertising services. The company has focused its efforts in the energy and environmental remediation, legal, health care and political fields.
Miner has overseen strategic communications projects for such clients as BP, The Hartford Working Group (Shell, Atlantic Richfield and Premcor), Clark USA and St. Mary’s Hospital of East St. Louis. Job assignments have included strategic planning, crisis communications, community relations, community outreach and media relations. Currently, Miner is assigned to three projects for BP in Illinois and New York.
Miner has written, directed and produced media projects for a variety of energy/environmental remediation, legal and health care clients, including BP, Shell, Valero, Cargill, the United Mineworkers of America, St. Mary’s Hospital of East St. Louis, and Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. His assignments have included media planning as well as production.
After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Miner began his career on the legislative staff of the Illinois Speaker of the House and managed legislative campaigns for the Speaker’s political committee, Illinois Democratic Majority. His responsibilities included staffing the Energy and the Environment committee.
Since opening Price-Miner Creative Strategies, Miner has provided general and media consulting services on more than 50 political campaigns, including an undefeated record in what has become a speciality: judicial elections. His experience includes providing strategic and media services to a wide variety of campaigns, ranging from statewide referenda to municipal elections.
